Our silk-filled duvets and throws are the ultimate luxury in quality silk bedding & linen. Once you sleep with silk duvets you will never return to anything else. Superbly light, they drape beautifully over ones body, keeping you at the most perfect sleeping temperature. This is made possible because the entire duvet is made from natural fibers, and are not treated or impregnated with any chemicals or artificial fibers. To this end it is vital that your duvet cover is also natural – pure cotton, linen or silk, no poly-cottons or suchlike. One of the most important benefits to sleeping with silk bedding (duvets, pillows, protectors) is the natural allergy free environment created. Silk does not harbor dust mite nor any moulds, mildews or fungi and will never do so. This ability makes our products the only answer to those suffering from asthma, eczema, sinus and other allergies. We make a range of duvets from light weight summer duvets to warm winter ones. The most popular all year round option is our spring duvet. It is better to add a throw or blanket during the really cold nights and have something that you can use most of the year than to take a very warm one that can only be used when cold. This does of course depend on your personal requirements and which part of the world you live in. All our duvets come with ties on the corners, which allows you to take any two duvet options and use them together when cold and separately during the rest of the year – this is called a Four Season’s Option.
Another popular option we make is the His & Hers duvet. Often the one partner sleeps warmer than the other. With the His & Hers we will make half the duvet thicker than the other half and tailor make it right down to the side of the bed you sleep on. International and custom size orders are also accepted and will be quoted seperatly. Whatever your needs we will attempt to accommodate you. Care: Once you have your silk duvet or pillow the best care for it will be to always use a cover. They may not be machine washed, only professionally dry cleaned or returned to us for cleaning. In fact silk duvets or pillows almost never require cleaning, however we do recommend hanging them out to air every couple of months. Most duvets are returned to us every 5 to 10 years for refurbishing. This we do by completely unpicking it, washing, cleaning and re-fluffing the silk before putting it back together again. In this way, should you require any modifications it can also be done. This service opportunity will set your duvet, throw or pillows apart from the cheaper imports, as no further care can be provided.
